Due to restoration works for the bicentenary celebrations in 2014 the main building, Eidsvollsbygningen, is closed for the public until February 2014. In the meantime you can hear the exciting history of 1814 in our visitors center, Wergelands Hus, which also ncludes a film about the danish Prince Christian Frederik, who was elected to be the new King in Norway in 1814.
